5/15/17  Agenda: Civil Rights Movement/ Jim Crow Laws Topic Sentence: Nearly 100 years after the emancipation proclamation, African Americans in Southern states still lived under segregation and various forms of oppression. Warm Up: What is the document called that has our country's system of beliefs and laws by which our government runs our country? Take Out: Book of Knowledge Tuesday & Wednesday – no warm up and assigned seats Write “sub” on 5/16 and 5/17.
