Total RNA extracted from bovine nuchal ligament (BNL) was used as a positive control for elastin. The nitrocellulose transfers were hybridized with complimentary DNA sequences to elastin (3.5 kb), α-tubulin (1.7 kb) and α1(I) procollagen (4.8 and 5.8 kb).
