CHOSEN ONES IN CHRIST

Calvinism promotes the false tenet of unconditional election of individuals. “The doctrine of election declares that God, before the foundation of the world, chose certain individuals from among the fallen members of Adam’s race… He chose to save some and to exclude others. His eternal choice of particular sinners unto salvation was not based upon any foreseen act or response on the part of those selected… Thus election was not determined by, or conditioned upon, anything that men would do, but resulted entirely from God’s self- determined purpose…”

God predetermined that all spiritual blessings are now in His Son Jesus. All families of the earth may be blessed in the Seed (Acts 3:24-25). God predestined that heavenly blessings would be available in Christ (Ephesians 1:3-14).

Our impartial God wants as many as will to be saved. The atoning sacrifice of Christ is for all. “…gave Himself as a ransom for all” (1 Tim. 2:5) “…so that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone” (Heb. 2:9) “He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world” (1 John 2:2)

Our impartial God wants as many as will to be saved. The divine will is that all may be saved. Preach the gospel throughout the world (Mark 16:15-16) God’s grace of salvation instructs all to make a change (Titus 2:11-14)

God calls all men to turn and enter the election of Christ. The blessing includes everyone having to turn from wickedness (Acts 3:26). No man perishing in his sins includes each person repenting (2 Peter 3:9; Luke 13:3). Acts 3:18, 19
