Check up with partners and other staff member to make sure they're doing their part.

S1 S2 1. Assist in aligning the battalion at all battalion formations. 2. Publish and execute the cadet battalion recruiting plan. 3. Maintain the qualification records and personal files on all cadets. 4. Collect, consolidate, post, and maintain all merit and demerit reports and records. 5. In coordination with the S-2, make recommendations to improve morale and welfare of the cadet battalion. 1. Assist in making periodic inspections of the security of weapons 2. Make periodic inspections of the security of the supply room and equipment storage areas. 3. Make necessary on-the-spot corrections resulting from security inspections and keep the battalion commander and instructor staff informed. 4. In coordination with the S-1,report incidents that are prejudicial to good order and discipline, 5. Perform other duties as assigned by the battalion commander, battalion executive officer, or the instructor staff.

S3 S4 1. Prepare the weekly training schedules. 2. Plan and supervise field events. 3. Maintain the unit reference library. 4. Inspect cadet training for compliance. 5. Maintain the training portion of cadet records. 1. Create a JROTC Clothing and Equipment Record for each cadet.Maintain all cadet supply records in proper order. 2. Maintain accountability of all equipment and supplies used by the unit. 3. Maintain the supply room in a neat and orderly fashion at all times. 4. Collect and dispose of excess salvage equipment and clothing. 5. Supervise the activities of the battalion ordnance officer (if assigned).

S5 S6 1. Maintain the cadet information board in the correct state showing news events of local, national, and international interest. 2. Keep abreast of newsworthy events in the cadet battalion 3. Act as the battalion's point of contact with the school newspaper and yearbook committees. 4. Maintain the cadet battalion scrapbook. 5. Make recommendations to improve morale and welfare of the cadet battalion The communications officer is responsible for setting up and maintaining all signal or public address/projection/sound equipment issued to the cadet battalion. Additionally, this officer ensures that all equipment is operational and that spare parts are on hand at all times.

S7 PM 1. Plan and coordinate special projects as outlined by the cadet battalion commander, the cadet battalion XO, or the instructor staff. 2. Maintain records on all activities and coordination as they pertain to each project. 3. Keep the cadet battalion commander, the cadet battalion XO, and the instructor staff informed as to the progress of,or any problems encountered with, the projects. 1. STAFF MEETINGS STAFF ROOM Be in your Seat at 2:30 Come Prepared with All Necessary Materials Always Take Notes Listen When Others Are Talking Save Questions Until the End of the (individual) Briefs If You are Unable to Attend Meeting, Let me know & Have Your Primary Assistant Seat-in for You. (They Should be just as Prepared as You) Unnecessary Personnel will be Asked to Leave No phones allowed unless told you may use it UPDATE YOUR SLIDE Paperwork or Binders should be put into boxes. If not, it will be thrown away into the trash cam. DO NOT Sleep in the staff room. DO NOT write on the chalkboard. DO NOT leave drinks or food laying around Have a socializing meeting Treat everything with respect. Privileges will be taken away if you can not follow rules.
