What is popular culture?

Popular Culture is made up of large, heterogeneous societies that share certain habits.

Traits of Popular Culture:

Popular Culture Urban Based. Product of Industrialized Countries. Heterogeneous people practicing homogeneous culture. Easily defined origins.

Popular Music Music that is written by specific individuals for the purpose of being sold to a large number of people.

Popular Clothing Clothing developed by a specific individual to be sold. Largely based on cultural perception rather than environmental need.
