Long SHot Showing all of the subject and most of the background Emphasis is more on the size or height of the subject not the background

Medium SHot Mid-shot Lower frame passes through subjects waist Subject and background occupy roughly the same amount of space in the photo

Close up Shows subjects in great detail Subject fills entire screen

Extreme Close up Reveals only a small part of the subject
