Musicster: A Location-Aware Music Player David Zhao Kevin West

Project Review What does it do? What is it good for? Who will care? Plays different music at different locations Adjust the speed of the music so it ends when you reach your destination. What is it good for? Listen to music between classes Automatically switch the type of music Who will care? Students walking between classes People want a smart music player

Demonstration What will the demo be like? Original Scenario: Show the two different aspects of the project Selection of playlist based on location (building accuracy) Alter the speed of music according to velocity of movement Simulate user moving with Placelab log file Original Scenario: Aimed for room-accuracy.

Implementation - Components Placelab Gives us coordinates of current location PocketPlayer Music player core that decodes and provides basic UI Plugin architecture to allow DSP/Control modifications
