Prehistory is the time BEFORE recorded history. What does that mean? Europeans provided the first RECORDED history in North America. Native Americans did leave EVIDENCE of their existence though, through artifacts. What are some examples of artifacts? What is a pictograph? What is a petroglyph? Who is an archeologist?
