Argument Prompt: Station Activity Within your groups, you will work together to breakdown and brainstorm for the argument prompt and write a thesis statement. In each group, you should assign the following roles, you can change these roles each round or keep them the same the whole time: Reader – this person will read each prompt aloud for the group Scribe – this person will write down the information that the group comes up with Time-Keeper – this person will keep the group on task and warn the group when there is 1 minute remaining Rotator – this person is in charge of returning materials to the folder and rotating it clockwise to the next group member. You will only have 10 minutes PER station to brainstorm.

Multiple Choice Practice Complete as many rounds a possible. Multiple Choice Practice In your group, read the passage aloud. Then answer the questions. Answering: Each member of your group has been assigned a letter (A, B, C, D, or E) For each question, one member will read the question aloud. Each member will consider why their assigned letter (A, B, C, D, or E) is either the correct answer OR the incorrect answer. You must be able to explain your reasoning. If two group members believe their answer is correct, they will make their case to the group and the group as a whole will decide which answer is correct. Repeat these steps for each question. I will pass out the correct answers at the end of the session.
