First 15 minutes Lesson Labels Today’s Task Today you will learn The Ticket-Out-The-Door This is the assignment that the practice has allowed students to complete. Must include a synthesis and evaluation Bloom’s verb. Today you will learn Kid Friendly in 10 words or less. What will they learn today? Modify the task.

First 15 minutes Instructional Warm-Up No longer than 8 minutes Begin timing when the short bell sounds (60 seconds remaining) Sets the tone for the learning for the day. Must be related to the learning for the day. Take the bellwork up BEFORE you discuss it May or may not be used for formative assessment

First 15 minutes Frontload State the objective for the day Utilizes at least one of the strategies to direct teach students Be intentional about teacher and student actions. **There should be a total of 15 minutes total used from the bellwork assignment to the end of frontloading.
