agenda Stations Today Film Clip Friday #5 (at end if time) Station #1: IR Station #2: Read and discuss “If You Are What You Eat” – focus on… Station #3: Review TED Talk (Native American Student from previous week) Review transcript and annotate for narrative elements (pacing, dialogue, anecdote, descriptive writing, etc.) Practice writing narrative from that perspective (modeling the writing you will be doing for Narrative Plea assignment)

Station #2: If you are what you eat Read and mark highlight descriptive language that speaks to the senses. Respond to Questions 1-4 If time, practice writing a claim in response to the following question: How does the writer use descriptive language?
