Questions to consider: How are female rights and citizenship addressed in the Constitution? What was the “cult of domesticity” and how does this ideology differ from Republican Motherhood? What role do the Industrial and Market Revolutions have on American lives? How did women of varying race and class experience southern slave culture?

‘Murrica! Now what?: Drafting the Constitution Most controversial debates during the drafting of the Constitution: Who should be able to vote/electoral college? Voting limited to property-owning men (race not originally specified) How should states be represented in Congress? State representatives based on population….should slaves be counted?
