“Jesus’ Life Before Thirty”

Jesus understands every weakness of ours, because he was tempted in every way that we are. But he did not sin!   Hebrews 4:15 CEV

Jesus is God's own Son, but still he had to suffer before he could learn what it really means to obey God.   9Suffering made Jesus perfect, and now he can save forever all who obey him.   Hebrews 5:8,9 CEV

Jesus’ Culture. 1st century Jewish Culture.

Like a young plant or a root that sprouts in dry ground, the servant grew up obeying the Lord. He wasn't some handsome king. Nothing about the way he looked made him attractive to us. Isaiah 53:2 CEV

Jesus’ Growth and Development

His mother said, "Son, why have you done this to us His mother said, "Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been very worried, and we have been searching for you!"  Luke 2:48 CEV

Jesus’ Parents

Jesus’ Hometown

Some of the teachers of the Law of Moses were Pharisees, and they saw that Jesus was eating with sinners and tax collectors. So they asked his disciples, "Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?"  Mark 2:16 CEV

Jesus’ Education

When Jesus finished speaking, the crowds were surprised at his teaching.   29He taught them like someone with authority, and not like their teachers of the Law of Moses.  Matthew 7:28, 29 CEV

Jesus’ Job

24Anyone who hears and obeys these teachings of mine is like a wise person who built a house on solid rock. 26Anyone who hears my teachings and doesn't obey them is like a foolish person who built a house on sand. Matthew 7:24, 26 CEV

Jesus’ Marital Status
