Learning Targets I can recognize repetition and patterns in art I can relate repetition and pattern to other subjects and personal experience I can collaboratively create a pattern at my table I can create an owl using oil pastels on black paper I can create a pattern on my owl I can use the crayon resist technique to create a repetitive form for my background

Repetition vs. Pattern Repetition is an object, form, or figure that is repeated. Pattern is a combination of elements or shapes repeated in a recurring and regular arrangement.

Repetition: lots of the same thing!

Repetition Does not have to be… Organized The same size, spacing or color But it does have to be something that is the SAME/ REPEATED!
