Bobsleigh A heroic sport

What is the sport? Bobsleigh is a team sport of two or four men/women in one bobsleigh. Teams have to race down the mountain down an icy slope. it is a very scary and nervous sport. Many people that are contestants and athletes of bobsleigh are called ‘mad and brave.’

Facts about bobsleigh Most tracks are made of concrete and the covered over with ice. Bobsleigh was invented in 1890 in Switzerland The fastest speed on a bobsleigh is 153 kph. They have been in the first olympics and still are ‘running cool ‘or I should say ‘cool runnings’.
