Class Practice Look at this map of Brazil. Using this and the physical map of South America from your atlas, see if you can identify one geographic feature that explains an economic activity in Brazil.

Mastery Practice Choose one of the maps from your textbook: South America’s Economic Resources – pg. 289 Europe’s Economic Resources – 383 Using that map and any other map from the beginning of the chapter (physical, political, climate, or population density), answer the following: Identify and explain two geographic features and/or factors that influence the location of a particular industry or industries on that continent. You MUST use evidence from the map to support your answer. Write a minimum of one paragraph (5 sentences).
