Two-Column Notes: Help Concept Response Textual Evidence What is the meaning of the comparison between Superman and the author, Sherman Alexie? Where does the extended metaphor begin?

Two-Column Notes: Apply Concept Response Textual Evidence What is the meaning of the comparison between Superman and the author, Sherman Alexie? Where does the extended metaphor begin? In what ways are Superman and the author similar?

Two-Column Notes: Master Concept Response Textual Evidence Explain how each character is saving lives. What “powers” does Sherman Alexie have? What is the main conflict in this narrative? Where is the climax? How is the conflict resolved? What are the “doors” that Alexie is breaking down?

I.C.E.: Master Choose one of the rows from your two-column notes to demonstrate your mastery of Introducing, Citing, and Explaining and Elaborating on textual evidence. Introduce your quote with a signal phrase and a comma.. Include your quote using quotation marks and a parenthetical citation. Make sure all of your punctuation is correct and in the correct places. Start a new sentence and explain why the evidence supports your claim. Elaborate by going into more detail and making connections.
