Conway Year 6 residential

Dates: 16th Sept – 20th Sept 2019 Objectives of the visit To enable the children to: face physical challenges; face organisational challenges; develop co-operative and leadership skills through team work.

Supervision: Ratio of at least adult to 10 pupils. School staff, including a first aider. Possible parental help if needed. All DBS checked. In addition, the Conway Centre provide qualified teachers to run all activities who also hold outdoor pursuit qualifications.

Programme: Activities may include: Raft building Sailing Day long expeditions – canoe and abseil /sea level traversing Orienteering Problem solving Evening activities such as a night line, campfire and a disco.

Cost: £320 (approximate until final numbers etc. are confirmed) £80 non returnable deposit need no later than 12th March 2019 Final payment by 12th July 2019 Can pay in instalments – cash, cheque, standing order or e-payments
