PicMonkey By: Hannah Sartain http://www.picmonkey.com/

How To Use It In The Classroom PicMonkey can be used to pique kids interest in books by making collages. You can have the students create a collage that summarizes the book through pictures. You can have the students edit a picture of themselves and add Christmas themed overlays for their parents. Students can find a picture online and create dialogue for characters using the text feature. Students can edit pictures on topics being studied. For example, If you are learning about The White House you can have the students find a picture of it and edit and add overlays appropriately.

Benefits for Teachers Teachers can use PicMonkey for many things within the classroom: Dividers Awards Certificates Posters Nametags Worksheets

Benefits for Students PicMonkey can help students develop computer skills and stay up to par in todays technological world. Increases the student’s creative thinking skills. Benefits students who are more visual and kinesthetic learners. Sparks interest. Engaging. Fun!
