The Great State of Wisconsin “The Badger State”

See the many opportunities in Wisconsin’s great outdoors! With more than 15,000 lakes and 33,000 miles of rivers and streams, WI is known better for on water activities than anything else. More than 650,000 hunters were in the woods on opening weekend of the 2006 deer season. The Great Outdoors WI has 15,210 miles of groomed snowmobile trails. That’s enough to sled from LA to New York and back, 3 times! See the many opportunities in Wisconsin’s great outdoors!

Festivals Hodag Festival Grounds Summerfest Grounds Hodag is held each year. Top country singers such as Neal McCoy perform in the lush, green surroundings of the north woods. Festivals Summerfest Grounds Summerfest is known as the world’s largest festival. Each year an estimated one million people attend the music festival!

Farm kids get to show off all their hard work with their animals Farm kids get to show off all their hard work with their animals. Winner takes all. Last year’s highest bid was for a little under $50,000. An estimated 862,000 people attended the 2006 WSF. People spent an average of 6 hours at the fair.
