Informative Speech Purpose is to educate the audience about a topic. Speaker needs to engage the audience. The informative speech should be simplistic, meaning easy enough to follow. Make appropriate language choices.

Informative Speech Organization Identify the organizational pattern (chapter 13) that best relates to your topic and the purpose of your speech. Build a speech that is well developed with solid facts rather than minute facts.

Informative Speech: Methods Narration: a story or an account of an event told orally. Description: is an image that is created verbally. Concrete terms – descriptions that are detailed and specific.
