Brainstorming Subtopics Supporting your Thesis

Where do you start? Think of the main idea of your paper (Thesis) What can you say about your topic that will help support your thesis? Your subtopic can be general but your supporting details will be specific.

Remember Significance…. Significant (adj): Having or likely to have influence or effect; meaningful Ask yourself these questions….. What makes your landmark significant or important? How does it influence people? The World? What is so remarkable about it?

Some suggestions… History: tell us about your landmark When was it built? Who built it? What group of people? Why was it built? Where was it built? (Location..Country) How was it built? Or How long did it take to build? How did it get it’s name? (some of your landmarks have crazy architectural features…tell us how it came to be)

More Suggestions…. Characteristics: Describe the details of your landmark Formation: If it’s a natural landmark how was it formed?
