Social Studies Method

#1. Ask A Big Question. Figure out what you want to know and develop a question which will help you learn more about the subject.

#2. Gather Information. Get this info from your book, from me, from the internet, and other sources.

#3. Organize the information. Put the information we have in categories and sections to help when analyzing the information. Use graphic organizers, notes, lists, etc.

#4. Analyze the information Read through the information and determine if what we helps with our question. We must understand what we read.

#5. Answer the BIG question. Look at the facts and determine the answer to your question.
