Morning procedures Students may not head to class until 7:50 If they arrive after 8:05 they must have a tardy slip They should go to their locker and restroom before entering class They will show respect during the pledge and announcements

Students should come to class prepared Students will sharpen pencils and check the board for instructions upon entering Agendas must be completely filled out and signed nightly

Privileges can be revoked individually or on a group basis Six grade is granted several privileges; including, lockers, snacks in class, devices during lunch, recess, and classroom incentives Privileges can be revoked individually or on a group basis Privileges are revoked if procedures are not followed

Purple Folders Purple folders will be passed out during first block Folders must be signed and returned by Thursday morning Progress reports must be returned by Thursday morning Report cards are due on Thursday of the following week

Daily Work Charlie Dean 8/1/16 Block 1 Division Test 1. Work should be labeled neatly with the following information in the right hand corner First and Last Name Date Block Number The title of the assignment should be displayed across the top of the page

Daily Work Charlie Dean 8/1/16 Block 1 Division Test Assignments not labeled appropriately will have points deducted No name assignments will be place in a no name basket, and it will be the students responsibility to check the basket during recess Missing assignments will display a zero in skyward until the assignment is turned in Failure to complete assignments can result in loss of privileges 1.

Absentees Students must check with their teacher to collect any notes, instructions, or assignments It is the student’s responsibility to collect missing work and turn the work in Teachers will not remind students about missing work.

Hallway expectations Students are expected to move from place to place quietly and in a respectful manner Sixth graders should stop for younger students, visitors, and adults both inside and outside the building Students should not be travel in the building without permission from the teacher

Transitions Students are expected to collect supplies and use the restroom before entering the next class Students must collect supplies in a timely and orderly fashion

Dismissal Students may not pack up supplies until instructed to do so At the end of the day students will make sure the classroom is neat and ready for the next day Walkers and launch will go to the cafeteria Car riders and bus riders will be taken to the new gym

Cell Phones and Technology Use Students may be permitted to use a cell phone for a class assignment Students will not be permitted to text, call, or use social media Cell phone violations will result in confiscation; multiple violations will result in additional consequences

Emergencies If a student becomes ill and do not have time to ask, they are permitted to exit to the nearest restroom (We will check on the student) If the teacher becomes ill and can not speak two assigned students will retrieve the nurse and two additional students will retrieve the teacher next door (Everyone else should remain seated)
