Presentation transcript:

Participants In my programme I’ll be exploring how technological advancements have given opportunities to young people interested in animation like never before. I’ll be offering up my own experiences with animation as well as my perspectives on its current state. More importantly however, I’ll be speaking to other young people working in the craft to see what they’ve been able to achieve with modern animation equipment and to hear their varying perspectives on animation in its current state and perhaps even where they see the future going.

Practicalities I’ve already arranged to interview three young people all honing their skills in different forms of animation from digital 2D animation, stop-motion, visual effects and more. I have access to borrowing the equipment within the college and I have both the time and ability to plan this project thoroughly through pre-production, so that I’ll have it shot and edited by its deadline. I have confidence that by the end of the production process for this film I’ll have a cohesive and interesting final product that gives viewers insight into modern animation.
