Four-Step Plan Stop, breathe, reflect, and choose

Live a healthy life Eat right, rest, exercise

Take a break from stressors Sit in a chair with your feet up.

Relax Take a warm bath

Escape Listen to quiet, soothing music

Relieve tension Shut your eyes, deep breaths, relax muscles

Rely on others Talk to a friend

Meditate Think about values, belief in a higher power

Use Imagery Close eyes, imagine a better place

Enjoy yourself Leisure activity or hobby

Renew yourself Learn new skills, join a club

Think positively Reflect on accomplishments, feel proud

Develop outside interests Provide time for yourself

Seek assistance or delegate tasks Ask others for help, no one can do it all
