BACKGROUND Based on Society of Petroleum Engineers, PetroBowl competition is an international competition that pitches SPE student chapter teams to compete against each other in a series of quick-fire rounds, answering technical and nontechnical industry-related questions. The contest has grown in size and popularity since its debut in 2002, and in 2015 was taken global with the introduction of six regional qualifier contests. Regional qualifier competitions now take place in the Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, South America and Caribbean, Middle East, and North America SPE regions. Then the top 32 teams who won the regional qualifier are to be invited to the PetroBowl Championship at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition The background of the International Student Competition of SPE PETROBOWL ASIA PASIFIC REGIONAL QUALIFIER 2019: Education as a learning process need the support on relevant activities to achieve improvement in knowledge, skill and attitude applied in the technical fields and other related sectors. Research and development of science and technology as responsibility which has to be carried out by all students as a part of science community. Student competition as a mean of student’s knowledge and creativity in the field of petroleum science and technology.

AIMS AND GOALS To enrich the participants' knowledge about technical and non-technical knowledge of petroleum and related industry. To prepare participants as qualified and professional human resources with excellent ability to express their ideas in many ways in order to be able to survive and to build self confidence in the competition. To achieve SPE Trisakti Student Chapter establishing purposes which is to hold an event that will develop all SPE members. To Make All SPE Students Member be more Creative, Innovative, and Applicable about the theory to the real condition. To Expand connection between a lot of SPE members not only in National Scale but also in International Scale

SERIES OF EVENT COMPETITION TOUR DE JAKARTA This is a quick competition that compete against each other in a series of quick-fire rounds, answering technical and nontechnical industry-related questions, quarter final, semi-final and final. Each team consists of 3 person. There are many kind of question which relate to oil and gas industry and geoscientist industry. The best 5 teams can become the representative of Asia Pasific to compete in Championship that will be held in Annual Technical Confrence and Exhibiton, USA. TOUR DE JAKARTA This is a good opportunity for every delegates to expand connection with each other by having a game and get some short trip together. Not only that, by conducting this event we hope that every foreign delegates can know the culture from Indonesia Itself and get a lot of knowledge from historical building in Jakarta.

CLOSING This is a brief description about PETROBOWL ASIA PACIFIC REGIONAL QUALIFIER 2019 International Student Competition that we are planning to conduct. Certainly, there will be various obstacles found in the implementation of the student competition later. However, with the help and support from every person involved in this activity, we are sure that we can overcome it together. We hope that this first ever APRQ, which will be held in Indonesia, could be established well and give much benefit and improvement to all of the Participants, Committee, and Professionals also for the Industry.
