Week of March 4, 2019 College Mondays: Wear your college t-shirt Amy Biehl’s Culture and Literacy Night is April 4th This event celebrates the multicultural community of our school and we are inviting families to set up a table to share a piece of their culture and community.  This could be a project, presentation, stories, hands-on activity, food, or anything you can imagine. Trailblazer Water Bottle Fundraiser Ms. Dominguez’s 3rd graders are selling Trailblazer water bottles for $5 to raise money for the Espanola Wildlife Center to help rehabilitate NM wildlife. Students may turn in water bottle money to their homeroom teachers each morning. School Spirit Fridays: Wear your Trailblazer shirt or school colors Blue and Green! ABCS Registration for the 2019-2020 School Year Registration for all students attending ABCS for the 2019-2020 school year will be held on the following dates: March 11-12: 9am-12pm; 1-4pm March 13: 9am-12pm; 1-3pm; 5-6pm March 14: 9am-12pm; 1-4pm March 15: 9am-2:30pm Please bring 2 proofs of address and immunization records. Please see sfps.info for more details. The Crayon Initiative Ms. Eileen is sponsoring The Crayon Initiative @ABCS. Classrooms are collecting old crayons for this program which recycles crayons and donates the “new” crayons to art programs at children’s hospitals across the country. Check out our lending Library located in the front lobby of the school. Take a book or bring a book to read! Swim Team Season Starts! ABCS Swim Team season starts on Friday, March 8th. Practices will be held on Fridays from 4-5pm at the Genoveva Chavez Community Center. Swim Team is open to students in grades K-6. Students must be able to swim the length of the pool to join.
