2017-2018 LCAP Increases Action Projected Increase Comments 1.1b Recruit, hire and maintain highly qualified teachers and support staff dedicated to the learning outcomes, performance and achievement of students. $300,000 Stipends to support new teachers (Teacher’s Induction Program-TIP) 1.4a Purchase and support Common Core state standard based materials and textbooks in all areas of instruction: Math 2014-15, ELA/ELD 2015-16, History/Social Science 2016-17, Science 2017-18 $1,400,000 Increased due to cost of materials 1.5 Purchase and maintain a variety of pupil devices and teacher technology enhanced work stations and increase staff to maintain 1:1 ration (Refresh plan-Year 3 of 3 year plan) $200,000 Increased fund to support refreshed plan 1.6 Maintain professional development on the use and application of integrating technology to support college and career readiness (maintain at 2014-15 year level) $25,000 PD for teachers on technology 4.2 Continue parent workshops covering various topics (Language classes, technology, community services, college, career, safety, health and nutrition, supporting literacy at home, Parenting Partners) $105,000 Parenting Partners-increase to add additional sites and training
