Reasons The use of stereotypes is a major way in which we simplify our social world; since they reduce the amount of processing we have to do when meeting new people.”Saul McLeod” Because of how she describes Lucy it infers that all Hispanic

11 Is it really true that when you reach a certain age people will start listening you more and give more power over your words.

Reasons It is true that sometimes people will listen to you at a certain age but most adults do not listen to children and not trust what they are saying In the chapter eleven the girl that was accuse of having an ugly sweater denied that it was hers but the teacher did not listen to her only to a person that said that its hers in the end when the truth was revealed that the sweater was theirs the teacher never apologized to her

Equality in Sexism Do females want to be treated as an equal to a male? Well of course they do, women have been trying for years to find equality in society, especially in the work place

Reason Females in the work place are paid less when they are doing the same job as a male would do. But sometimes male do harder jobs than the female shouldn't a male be paid more than the women In culture women have been the caretakers of the family and house because of advancement of culture females have begun to into the society and start a career for themselves, so if a person does the same job as a male than they should be paid more, but if a female does a harder job she should be paid more, vice vearsa

Conclusion In our culture we like the separate or make things easy for ourselves by stereotyping and by following older cultures that has been fed to the future Americans. The three issues are all related to each other because they all correspond with who has more power in society Not only you have to be a certain race but also you have to be a certain age and a certain sex
