Think About… Question 1. Who is my audience? Would you speak to your teachers the same way you would speak to your peers? How would you speak to your peers? How would you speak to your teachers? How would you speak to an audience that contained both peers and teachers?

Understand Your Audience To understand your audience, ask yourself these questions: Who is my audience? What are their needs? What do I really want my audience to know? What do I want my audience to do with the information I give them? What the interests of my audience?
