EVERY DAY: You will need your textbook. You will be able to keep it in the classroom for your convenience. Bring it tomorrow, Tuesday 8/25/2015. We will record the book i.d. number and label its spine with your name and period.
EVERY DAY: Bring your Science Notebook: an 8 ½ x 11 in. spiral ring notebook. You will take your notes and do most classwork & homework in it. You must have it in class by Thursday 8/27/2015.
EVERY DAY: Not everything will go in your Science Notebook. Bring either a 2-pocket folder or dedicate a section in your binder for loose papers you need to keep.
EVERY DAY: Bring a pencil. Mechanical pencils are fine. Bring a pen. Please use dark ink colors, such as black, blue, dark green, dark purple, etc. No light colored inks, metallic inks, red pens. Bring a highlighter.
Nice to have: Your own... Crayons, colored pencils &/or markers. Eraser. Hand-held pencil sharpener. Foot/metric ruler. Glue stick, tape dispenser or white glue bottle.
You will also need, starting Monday, 9/28/2015: A compass, preferably one that looks like this one. You can purchase one at the Army Navy Surplus Store at the corner of Motor & Venice. Say you’re from CCHS and get a 10% discount.
