Warm-Up: Companionship Pick one of the “odd pairs” from your notes (Mr. and Mr. Kumar or one of the animal groups). What is the message with this pair about companionship? What does Pi’s interest in companionship tell us about him?

Harmony Poster Project Form a group of 3 Use either the topic of World Religions or India’s Journey. Create a message about how the various groups can live together harmoniously. Create an image that represents your message. Use archetypal colors for symbolism Use archetypal animals if you can Sketch a rough draft to receive poster paper.

Homework: Due Wednesday, 4/13 Read up to the end of Ch. 43. Complete a dialectical journal, filling at least 1 page. Focus: Roles of each animal on the boat.
