The website has lots of ideas for each section. www.dofe.org The website has lots of ideas for each section.

What to do next: If you are interested: Collect a letter when you leave the Hall now so you can start thinking about your sections – read the front cover for extra information! During the summer plan what you could do for each of your sections: talk to people who could assess you and make sure they are happy to do it! If possible, get your assessor to sign your programme frame, so you can prove you have had the discussion.

DON’T START ANY OF YOUR SECTIONS – you can’t use any work done until you are formally enrolled with DofE, and this will not happen until October 2018.

In September: In the first week of term you MUST bring your programme frame sheet completed and hand it in. We will formally enrol you by the end of September. You will be able to start your Award in October 2018. We will only train you for the expedition if you have TWO sections underway or achieved!

Commitment There are only 76 places available for DofE at Freman College. You need to be committed and organised in order to qualify: if your programme frame is not with us, completed, by the September deadline, you will not be considered.
