Lesson 10-3: Arcs and Chords Geometry
Theorem #1: If two chords are congruent, then their arcs are also congruent. Arc AB is congruent to Arc CD.
Theorem #2: In inscribed quadrilaterals, the opposite angles are supplementary. m<A + m<C = 180 and m<B + m< D = 180 C
Theorem #3: If a radius or diameter is perpendicular to a chord, it bisects the chord and its arc. Segment LZ = Segment ZM and Arc LX = Arc XM
Theorem #4: If two chords are equidistant from the center of the circle, the chords are congruent.
