What is Gooru? Gooru is a service that provides teachers, students and parents with a widespread collection of videos, interactive displays, documents, diagrams, and quizzes for learning about topics in math, science, social sciences, and language arts.

Capabilities of Gooru Users can search for resources by entering a keyword and specifying an accompanying subject, grade level, standard, and/or source. Provides a mechanism for teachers and students to gather and grow collections of content. Provides additional tools aiming to serve the needs of both individual students and larger classes.

How To Use Gooru Step 1 Find the best of the web from over 10 million sources! Search for games, videos, questions, etc that cover all K-12th grade subjects.

Step 2 Organize and customize content into learning playlists called collections!

Step 3 Bring the content you have discovered into the classroom with Gooru collections. Whether you are teaching the lesson or sending the material home as homework, Gooru makes lessons more engaging!

Educational Benefits of Using Gooru Teachers, parents, and students can gather educational resources such as videos, diagrams, documents and more. Students are able to take quizzes on topics regarding math, science, social sciences, and English language arts and study at their own pace. Allows all participants the ability to organize information they find elsewhere on the web and through Gooru into collections as a way of grouping resources. Teachers can create and manage class assignments all in one place!
