Cause and Effect

Defining Cause and Effect Cause- is the reason why an event happens. Effect- is the result of a happened event.

Can You Identify the Effect?

Before hibernation, many animals eat and gather food. The Cause: Before hibernation, many animals eat and gather food.

The animals will stay full and alive during hibernation. The Effect: The animals will stay full and alive during hibernation.

The Cause: Many settlers from Europe brought diseases with them to South Carolina.

Many Native Americans passed away. The Effect: Many Native Americans passed away.
