Fuel Committee Work When planning your Fuel activity, keep in mind the following parameters: Minimize PowerPoint presentations and it should be at the end to recap. Strive for activities that are interactive instead of the “sage on the stage.” No standing in the front of the classroom during activities. Must be in small groups and can come back to whole class to debrief. This is the time when something can be shown on the Smart TV. No electronic devices unless it is needed for an activity. Must have an information sheet that can be posted on the Connect Mentor website. How can you create a community feel and engage the freshmen? Think back to this morning.

Expectations and Enthusiasm Summer training - Select ONE to attend Tuesday 8/21 at 1pm or 4pm Wednesday 8/22 at 10am or 2pm Training will be about 1 and ½ hours long First Day of School - September 4th at 7:45am Wear Connect T-shirt for each Fuel month Attend all monthly Fuel training sessions Maintain high standards of academics and proper behavior befitting a General 1st day of school theme?
