Opting Out I often allow students to Opt Out of completing requirements for vocabulary words for which they can demonstrate mastery. To demonstrate mastery, you will write a definition of the words you already know. If you demonstrate mastery the FIRST TIME, Mrs. Ervin will initial your word list. You must keep the signed word list to turn in.

Product Options You may choose to create any product to demonstrate completion of required vocabulary words. Frayer Diagram (minimum) Foldable Pop Up book Spinner Wheel Flash Cards PowerPoint Word Splash

Product Requirements Regardless of the product you choose to complete, the following are the minimum that must be included for each word. Word (Duh) Definition Illustration, Picture, or Fun Fact about the word (Remember these are required to meet the standard. To exceed, you must go ABOVE AND BEYOND)

Grading Word, definition, plus one thing = 70 Word, definition, plus two things = 80 Word, definition, plus three things = 90 Word, definition, plus four things = 100 Must attach opt out page to work.
