Presentation transcript:

Creating Perspective! You must use a pencil On your white paper, write “PRACTICE” on one side and “FOR REAL” on the other in small print.

Vanishing Point:. the point where parallel lines and orthogonal lines Vanishing Point: the point where parallel lines and orthogonal lines seem to converge. Orthogonal lines: straight diagonal lines that connect to the outer edge of an image AND the vanishing point. Horizon Line: where the sky meets the land. Orthogonal line

6 examples of LP (5 pts each) Assignment Once you’ve finished your PRACTICE portion of Creating Perspective, flip the paper over and use the blank side to create EITHER (1) another room that demonstrates the below characteristics, or (2) an street scene that demonstrates the below characteristics: 6 examples of LP (5 pts each) REPEAT NO MORE THAN 2 of the examples demonstrated DOOR/WINDOW/FLOORING/BED (any of these shapes can be used to make ANYTHING ELSE). DO THE WORK YOURSELF—YOUR NEIGHBOR WILL NOT HELP YOU WITH THE ACTUAL DRAWING.
