Rhythm of the 4 stages of each phase

Cycle Dates divided into Phases Three-month cycles of activity through which a community grows—the burst of expansion experienced as a result of intense action; the necessary period of consolidation during which increases in ranks are fortified as they, for example, participate in devotional gatherings and the Nineteen Day Feast and receive visits at their homes; and the opportunities designated for all to reflect and plan. The question of teaching among receptive populations moves to the foreground in this light, and the challenge of seeking out souls who are willing to engage in a conversation about the world around them and participate in a collective effort to transform it comes into focus. my.bahai.us/rbcnw/communitybuilding/ weaving-pattern-action Cycle Dates divided into Phases

Now let us reflect on how many days we spend on each phase within a cycle. Again we divide each cycle in 4 phases naming each A - B - C-- D Cycle A Mar 21 – Jun 20, 2019 Planning Mar 21 - Mar 28 8 days Expansion Mar 29 – Apr 7 10 days Consolidation Apr 8 – Jun 7 60 days Reflecting Jun 8 - Jun 20 13 days Total 91 days Cycle B Jun 21 – Sept 20, 2019 Planning Jun 21 – Jun 28 8 days Expansion Jun 29 – Jul 7 9 days Consolidation Jul 8 - Sep 7 60 days Reflecting Sep 8 - Sep 20 13 days Total 90 days Cycle C Sep 21 – Dec 20,2019 Planning Sep 21 – 28 7 days Expansion Sept 28 - Oct 6 8 days Consolidation Oct 7 - Dec 9 60 days Reflecting Dec 10 - Dec 20 11 days Total 86 days Cycle D Dec 21,2019 - Mar 20th, 2020 Planning Dec 21 – 27 7 days Expansion Dec 28 – Jan 5 9 days Consolidation Jan 6 - Mar 9 60 days Consolidation Mar 10 - 20 11 days Total 97 days

Proposed cycle dates during which we have 4–5 Feasts each For purpose of general use we decided to name each of the 4 quarters A – B – C – D starting from Riḍván to Riḍván We realize that many community have their cycles numbered by now, but want to break down each one for study. Cycle A Cycle B Cycle C Cycle D Mar 21 – Jun 20 Jun 21 – Sept 20 Sept 21 – Dec 20 Dec 21 – Mar 20 Splendor - Mar20/21 Mercy - Jun 23/24 Will - Sept 26/27 Honor - Dec 30/31 Glory - Apr 8/9 Words - Jul 12/13 Knowledge - Oct 15/16 Sovereignty - Jan 18/19 Beauty - Apr 27/28 Perfection - Jul 31/Aug 1 Power - Nov 3 /4 Dominion - Feb 6/7 Grandeur - May 16/17 Names - Aug 19/20 Speech - Nov 22/23 Loftiness – Mar 1/2 Light - June 4/5 Might - Sep 7/8 Questions - Dec 11/12 Many communities do their consultation and plans for action during Feasts. This is the time when individuals or the LSA’s share their ideas and collaborations. Each cycle has 4–5 Feasts, so it allows for several opportunities to come together and plan as a team. It also allows for a better attendance for forthcoming Reflection Meetings that offers opportunities for intercommunity help and collaborations.

Some metrics to be considered? This exercise is not meant to be a collection of Regional Bahai statistical collection duplication, more or less a personal reflection on our own personal/teaching team collaborations. Here are some metrics for consideration such as: How many of you have volunteered to be trained? How many of us are not actually out there teaching the Faith? How many of us are actually bringing seekers to events? How many of those actually started to attend Core Activities? How many one on one or public presentations did you make? What type of events was attended by most of your seekers? How many seekers accompanied you? How many of your seekers became a Baha’i? Goals – Outcomes - Expectations Agree to learn added insights and wisdoms in conversations Agree to practice and make presentation to our seekers and friends Agree to finally send out follow up invites Learn to use Social Media Learn to book some home visits Learn to give some firesides Agree to participate in some Services in the community or at least volunteer with some outward looking project Learn to reflect, plan and evaluate your teaching efforts Learn to attend ATC Reflection/Planning Meeting
