How they get around The gharial is poorly equipped locomotion on land it’s better in the water. The tail is well developed.
Their diet Their diet changes as the gharial matures from a juvenile to an adult. Insects and vertebrates such as frogs.
Males sizes Males do not mature until about 13 feet [3.7m] In length at 15 to 18 years of age.
Females size Females are around eight to nine feet in Length this is usually when they are older Then seven years old.
How they lay their eggs They build their nests from March to May. Gharials lay eggs in holes in the sand.
Where they live Gharials are found in rivers of the Northern India subcontinent.
