Of 5200 eligible patients, 204 declined participation, 111 had diabetes >400 days before All New Diabetics in Scania study registration, 923 were missing hemoglobion A1c (HbA1c) measurements at diagnosis, 20 were missing date for diabetes diagnosis, 108 were classified as type 1 diabetes (T1D) and 40 as secondary diabetes. After exclusion, 3525 patients classified as type 2 diabetes (T2D) and 269 classified as latent autoimmune diabetes in adult were included. Mats Martinell et al.
