GEOGRAPHY Ancient Rome's geography was almost all flat area. Being an area of volcanic origins the soil is naturally rich in water springs and minerals.

RELIGION In some ways Roman religion is a lot like Greek religion, but in other ways it is very different. Like the Greeks, the Romans thought that there were many gods, and that these gods each controlled different parts of the world: storms, the ocean, marriage, blacksmithing

ACHIEMENTS One main thing is that thing have a great religion system. They where great at doing things like building things like temples. Bridges Canals Columns Dams Domes Bridges Fortifications Monoliths Obelisks Roofs Tunnels

Political System It had 2 consuls, senators, Plebeians, women and slaves. The consuls were chosen by the Rome citizens. They need to get permission from other consuls. The senator are from very rich and powerful families. They are mostly farmers, merchants and craftsmen. Through they have the right to vote, they are always controlled by the nobles. The lowest class in the society of Ancient Rome are the women and the slaves. They don't have any rights. They don't have any freedom and they are not allow to vote.

Economics Most people in the Roman world were farmers. Some of the people who worked on farms were slaves, but most of them were free. They grew wheat and barley and olives and grapes and apples, onions and celery. Mostly they sold what they grew in markets in the towns, and bought food in the market to eat, as most farmers do today. And they paid taxes, as farmers do today. Roman farmers paid their taxes partly in money and partly in food.

social structure In ancient Rome, the upper-class citizens were called patricians. The patricians had special classes because they had extra money to be highly educated. In Ancient Rome, the plebeians were the poor, low-class citizens. There were more plebeians than patricians in Rome. The slaves of Ancient Rome were at the bottom of the class system. The only way you could become a slave is if you were a plebeian and you fell into debt or if you were a prisoner of war.

Quick Facts The Emperor Hadrian ruled for 21 years from A.D. 117 until A.D. 138, when the Empire of Ancient Rome was at its height. The Ancient City of Rome was on the site of the present city of Rome, the capital of Italy. Slaves in Ancient Rome made up to 40% of the population. The forum was the main focal point and meeting place of a Roman City. The forum was the site of religious and civic buildings. Gladiators in Ancient Rome fought to the death.

One paragraph They where great people of many things like getting their way at things they want. They could have any thing they want like a whole new city if they wanted to. They where great at doing things like building temples. They did a lot more things like keeping religion for a very long time. The people of Rome loved the religion they went In to war over gold and religion. They where great for many things and this is a few.
