Plan of presentation Preparing for the post-2015 Future project

Preparing for the post-2015 (1) National consultation took place to target the priorities of the post 2015Diary. ISTEEBU , as national bureau of statistics in charge of all official statistics is associate in those consultation in order to help in the choice and the definition of the key indicators for better an follow-up and evaluation.

Preparing for the post-2015(2) Major priorities: - Informing a Data Revolution in order to make sure that the necessary statistical data to eliminate poverty and to follow the progress of development has provided to the good people at the good time and in the good format.

Preparing for the post-2015(3) - The dissemination and diffusion of the data: ISTEEBU is already engages to use new technologies in the data-gathering in order to make information necessary within the deadlines. Almost all the investigations in preparation (DHS, 2015 and Census, 2018) will use the endroids/smartphones during the data-gathering on ground.

Preparing for the post-2015(4) The quality assurance is also in the heart of the priorities of the Institute in order to ensure itself of the quality of produced information. A national document of quality assurance is developed with the technical support of Canada Statistics.

Future project ISTEEBU still need a good Internet connection to facilitate the posting of the data on its website. It is also necessary for the province statistics services of ISTEEBU to have the internet to facilitate the exchange of data bnd a broad diffusion of information. ISTEEBU would like to also have an adequate server for containing all the data of the national life and; ISTEEBU like to implement an innovative SMS – based Alert System (Rapid SMS) to share the data with the users and dissemination. ISTEEBU’s staff need also a building capacities on use of rapid-sms technologie.
