Unity Has the text divided the topic into (?) distinct parts? Is each of those parts based on the same principle of division?

Support Has the text provided effective details to back up each of points? Has the text given each of the parts approximately equal weight? In other words, has the text spent about the same amount of time discussing each part?

Coherence Has the text used appropriate transitions and other connective devices to weave the paragraph together?

Sentences Skills Has the text used a consistent point of view throughout the paragraph? Has the text used specific rather than general words? Has the text avoided wordiness and used concise wording? Are the sentences varied? Has the text is checked for spelling and other sentences skills? Continue revising until you are sure the answer to each question is "yes."
