Homes are raised up on a bamboo platform

Because underneath sewage collects

The lucky families live up top the less fortunate underneat h

Saffia visited Jheelpur slum in February 2010

What she saw has changed her perspective on life

she saw how families live

She heard how some days they dont eat

She saw how sickly children were

We can help

ARBAN stands for Association for Realisation of BAsic Needs ARBAN Bangladesh is an NGO established for 27 years

They have brought clean water, latrines and the vote to Jheelpur

We have set up Arban UK

We are fundraising for a healthcare Project To set up a clinic in the slum
