Common NonSense Luke 16:15

Common NonSense God is big enough to be the God of people in all denominations! Is He not also big enough to be the God of Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists & Atheists? The truth is that God is big enough to reign over all people of all nations! (Psalm 47:7-8) But the question is, “Are all people ready to serve and obey Him?” It is not a matter of God’s omnipotence but of man’s obedience!

Common NONsense We are all saved – going to the same place! Many will be surprised to learn that they will not go to heaven (Matthew 7:21; 23:23) Being doctrinally wrong can result in being eternally lost (2 John 9; 1 Timothy 4:1-3) Few will be saved (Luke 13:23-30; 1 Peter 3:20-21)

Common NONsense We all don’t (or can’t) understand the Bible alike – everyone has their own interpretation and that’s OK. If we understand the Bible, we understand it alike. God expects us to understand it! (Matthew 4:4; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 1 Corinthians 1:10; Ephesians 3:1-7; 5:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Common NONsense We shouldn’t argue about or discuss or differences. Jesus did! (Matthew 22:17ff) Paul did! (Acts 15:1-2) How can we test doctrine if we never discuss it and compare it to Scripture? (Acts 17:11; 1 John 4:1; 2 Peter 2:1-2; Romans 16:17-18)

Just because a belief is COMMON. doesn’t mean it’s CORRECT. (e. g Just because a belief is COMMON doesn’t mean it’s CORRECT! (e.g. Mark 7:3) The devil would like us to think that what we believe doesn’t matter – that we can accept one another and that God will accept all of us regardless of what we believe and practice. Nothing could be further from the truth! (John 8:44)
