Celebrities influence on fashion in the 1950’s:Marilyn Monroe Marilyn Monroe was an icon of femininity and sexuality She helped pave the way for curvy women Created the pin-up fashion style Her fashion sence was seen as controversial

Celebrities fashion influence in the 1950’s:Elizabeth Taylor She wore lots of simple but beautiful dresses She chose to wear revealing dresses/clothes Loved sequins, flower, beading, feathers and bows Her pieces always made buzz on the red carpet Her clothing made blood statements

Celebrities fashion influence in the 1950’s:Audrey Hepburn Audrey wore tight around the waist, with high and squared neck lines Wore modest fabrics Influenced women to dress differently Helped show women that being beautiful isn’t based of looks
