Our story starts out in space

Our Earth goes round the Sun The Sun is a Star – Our Star

Stars cluster together in Galaxies

And In each Galaxy there are about 100,000,000,000 Stars = 1011

Galaxies are spread across the Universe

In the Universe there are 100,000,000,000 Galaxies = 1011

So - there are about 100,000,000,000 stars in each galaxy and 100,000,000,000 galaxies altogether

So altogether there are 100,000,000,000 x100,000,000,000 Stars in the Universe = 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 1022 stars altogether
